Incompetence

Dear EC,

You’re incompetent.  You can’t tell a living website from a dead one.  Apparently, you don’t realize that any website powered by WordPress is a blog.  Plus, your idea of just WHAT a blog is… is outdated.  You seem to think that all blogs must have countless posts, one after another, on the front page (most recent first).  That’s to say, you don’t seem to comprehend the idea of a blog with a static front page.  Apparently you can’t find yourself around a blog, anyway.  You didn’t see the sidebar?  You didn’t see the list of recent posts?  You didn’t see the list of categories– each with numerous posts?  Or, you can’t add…

You said my blog wasn’t a blog.  No.  It’s MORE than a blog (I added that as a tagline so you’d get the point)!  It is a blog-book with a cover.  It’s a blog-business-proposal with a cover-sheet.  It’s CALLED “Your Forum”:  But, it’s not a “forum” (buletin board) it’s a *forum* for people to voice their opinion.  Oh, yea, it’s a blog WITH a forum… a website with a front page AND a blog AND a forum!  But it’s a blog.

It WAS a blog (still is).  Now, it’s more than a blog… even by blog standards.  I put all the categories into one category, called that category “blog”, and made a link to the BLOG category so you can see multiple posts on one page with the newest post listed first.  I put that link at the top of the front page where you “can” (might) find it.  And I put a link below the title of the front page that says “View as Blog” (for dummies that can’t find the top links OR the sidebar links and who want to see multiple posts on one page… newest first).

You DELETED my account?  YOU DELETED MY ACCOUNT!  You said it wasn’t a blog.  And you only, apparently, saw one post.  It IS a blog.  And there are almost 250 posts!  It’s updated DAILY.  But you only looked at the front page and you deleted my account.  You said it wasn’t a blog and to see rule #3 (rule number three:  undesirable blogs have only one or two posts).  250!  Dummy!

You didn’t ask me to bring it “up” to your standards (or DOWN, as the case might be).  You hardly looked at it, you couldn’t tell it was an active blog, and you deleted my account without notifying me.  You could have warned me.  I could have informed you of the website’s layout and even modified it so that it was more user friendly.  I could have done all that and you could have decided to keep my account active.  You didn’t.  You deleted my account.  And now I have to WAIT (and wait and wait) for you to return to my website; then, wait longer while you UN delete it (when it shouldn’t have been deleted in the first place).

Your “team” is incompetent.  YOU are incompetent (whoever you are).  You showed your ignorance of blogs.  You showed your ignorance of websites, in general.  You showed your ignorance and incompetence when you deleted my account.  And, worse, you show your imcompetence by making me wait while you fix the problems you created by your incompetence.

It’s been a day.  I’ve written 2 letters.  And you haven’t responded (as usual).  When (Oh When!) will this be resolved?

To Better Days!

An EC user…
